How desperate does someone of any party/political inclination have to be to trawl through years of social network posts for a dubious post by a campaigner?
The latest such lunacy is the case of Adam Webb, Web Campaign Organiser for Liverpool Wavertree. Mr Webb had made some off colour comments on Facebook before he was involved in the campaign.
A Labour Councillor has said that "It says a lot about the calibre of people Eldridge has working around him."
Presumably this same Councillor has sent press releases condemning Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. After all, they have both involved Alistair Campbell in their campaigns and he is not exactly famed for his quiet and shy demeanour.
From badger culls to Gurkhas and voting reform, I like to know what is behind the soundbites.

Hypocrite of the day/month/year
Every single Labour or Conservative MP who claims that proportional representation would result in backroom deals on policy while happily making backroom deals on the cursed Digital Economy Bill to force it through with only TWO HOURS of debate. 42 clauses debated in 5 minutes. Yeah, that's a far more democratic way of doing things.
The Guardian (yeah yeah Lib Dem, Guardian, shock horror) has more details.

A veritable plethora of babezillas!
But none more beautiful than me ;)

So that's it - the walk (+33% extra free*) is over.
There were far more people than I expected - In the region of 130.
We started off with an embarrassing and impractical warm up in the football stadium, followed by a brief morale boost from Dame Poppy. Then we got going.
The route was
On our return we were given our certificates and a voucher for a bacon roll and a coffee.
I'm told that we raised over £17,500 for the excellent Nightingale House Hospice. Slightly depressingly that is only enough to run it for three days.
* Due to an unfortunate inability to remove my by now rather worn heels and a slight planning fail I had to walk over a mile home in the full outfit. A few funny looks, but we had raised £17,500 for charity so I had nothing to be ashamed of :)
